Honda RVF400RT NC35 – 18,101 km
The Story Behind the Machine
The Honda RVF400 NC35, introduced in 1994, represents the pinnacle of Honda's 400cc V4 sportbike heritage. A direct homage to the RC45 superbike that dominated World Superbike racing, this final-generation "mini-superbike" features a 399cc V4 producing 59 bhp at 13,000 rpm, with that unmistakable gear-driven cam howl that still makes enthusiasts weak .
The NC35 was the bike every 1990s schoolboy dreamed of – with its race-inspired livery, upside-down Showa forks, and iconic single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm. Joey Dunlop himself rode one, and the model remains a staple in 400cc racing. Officially sold only in Japan, surviving examples are increasingly rare and sought after.
The Bike (Condition)
Mechanical: Engine is in perfect condition and starts instantly. New battery fitted. Odometer shows just 18,101 km – remarkably low. Engine never opened, fully original.
Bodywork: Fairings are in poor condition but are genuine Honda items – not cheap aftermarket reproductions. This matters because OEM NC35 parts are notoriously rare and valuable.
Other: Frame straight, electrics work, original exhaust present. No track history.
